Bathrooms are located at the extreme ends of the 2nd hallway but are large, have marble stalls, and are clean. I was amazed by the airy spaciousness of the upstairs men's room at the New York Public Library. There is one extremely disturbing element to the bathrooms, however, in that all of the stalls are topped with a wire mesh. I suppose that, this being New York, that is to prevent muggings and gangland killings while you're sitting on the toilet. But just the possibility is a little unsettling. Still, a sunny, white, clean-looking, and spacious room. |
