safe | | Style: | | | Comments: | Although I often found it intimidating trying to get access to Harvard facilities of any kind, the Carpenter Center to my knowledge is still accessible by anyone walking in from the street. Bathrooms in basement. |

The Garage Shopping Center 36 JFK St| Rating: | ADEQUATE | | Hours: | Business hours | | Gender: | Stalls | | Fee: | free | | Details: | safe | | Style: | | | Comments: | Downstairs. It ain't the greatest, but it's free and it's there! Enter from JFK. No signs. Keep it to yourself, or **the Man** will close it to public use. |
Iruna's Restaurant 56 JFK Blvd| Rating: | GOOD | | Hours: | Business hours | | Gender: | simple | | Fee: | free | | Details: | clean
safe | | Style: | | | Comments: | This is a restaurant, but the restrooms are right across from the entrance. The place is busy so you can probably get away with not buying a meal. |
The Coop (the Harvard Coop) 1400 Massachusetts Ave| Rating: | GOOD | | Hours: | 9:00am - 10:00pm | | Gender: | American | | Fee: | free | | Details: | clean
safe
handicap access | | Style: | | | Comments: | Free bathrooms are almost impossible to find in Harvard Square. The Coop's are way upstairs, and have recently been remodeled. Since they are about the only free ones in the square, they are always busy, so pick up a book on your way upstairs to read while in line. |
Memorial Hall, Harvard University 45 Quincy Street.| Rating: | GOOD | | Hours: | Business hours | | Gender: | American | | Fee: | free | | Details: | clean
safe
handicap access | | Style: | | | Comments: | Upon entering this building, find your way to the basement. Often full of students relaxing, this basement also contains bathrooms, phones, and a water fountain. If there is a performance in the theater, the bathroom will be accessible late. Perhaps it's always open late, not sure. |
