I was there at night on a tour, and the place was very clean. There are two water fountains if you are thirsty.You will also find a very nice elevator in this area which whisks you up to the statue of Lincoln which is pretty handy if you do not feel like climbing stairs through throngs of eighth-graders on tour of DC. |

| | Style: | | | Comments: | When caught short in Metro Center station of the Metro subway system (no public facilities), you can dash out the exit where you see the sign for Hecht's Department store. Enter the store and go up a flight, search around and you'll find restrooms there. You can manage this and be back into the subway system in about 10 minutes (plus your pee-time) without ever going outside. You will be charged about $1.10 extra for exiting the system and re-entering but it beats feeling miserable. |
