Comments: This loo is undoubtedly much improved since I was last in it--1981. It was at the youth hostel in Sofia, smelling really , really bad because used toilet paper could not be flushed. It had to be put in an adjacent trash can. Yes, the feces were able to flow out, but the stench convinced me--and other users, too--that the door had to remain open or asphxyiation was certain.
